Destructible Blocks

My month has been dominated by lots of extra real-life responsibilities dropped on my suddenly, so I've not made much progress in Etude.
However, my most recent feature is destructible tiles! Those should be fun.
The basic mechanic is the same as in Metroid; if you hit a tile that can be broken, it either breaks or reveals the level of weapon needed to break it.
This should make for some nice hidden rooms and secrets. :D
